Is matching bolt pattern enough?

A matching BMW X1 bolt pattern is only the first check. The wheel still has to clear the hub, brakes, and suspension, sit at a usable offset, and use the correct fasteners and tire package.

  • Center bore must not be smaller than the hub. A larger bore may need hub-centric rings; it is not an automatic fit.
  • Offset and backspacing change inner and outer clearance even when diameter matches.
  • Wheel width, brake clearance, and suspension travel are trim-specific and are not proven by bolt pattern alone.
