Before You Buy
Used wheels can be a great value, but fitment mistakes are expensive to reverse. Always verify these before purchasing:
- Bolt pattern matches exactly (no adapters needed unless intentional)
- Center bore is equal to or larger than your hub (use hub-centric rings if larger)
- Offset is within a few millimeters of your OEM spec
- Rim diameter and width fit your intended tire size
Inspecting the Wheel Itself
Check for cracks near the spokes, bent lips, and repaired welds. A wheel that has been welded for a crack is generally unsafe to run and should be avoided regardless of price.
